Coming to Main Street...
Welcome!
It's not what you look at that matters; it's what you see. - Henry David Thoreau
What?
Create a welcoming mural on the home at 25 N. Main Street. This building is prominently seen when driving out on Main Street. It also sits next to the soon to be remodeled parking lot at Yost and Main Streets.
When?
Our goal is to complete the mural by early summer 2022. This will coincide with current plans for the opening of the new parking lot.
How can you help?
A fundraising campaign will be unveiled soon. We hope residents and businesses can give their financial backing to make this project happen.
Our Mission:
Our mission is to educate residents and visitors about Spring City and its surrounding community, which has a rich and important heritage, by encouraging others to see our wonderful past, present, and future through the colors and images of murals.

Background
The Spring City Mural project began as idea an by Mark Shumaker, who has previous experience with a mural project in Royersford. The original location of the Spring City mural was going to be alongside the Hydromotion building on Bridge Street.
After some initial meetings with members of the community, a property owner on Main Street reached out with the idea of installing a mural alongside the new parking lot location at Main and Yost Streets.
Due to the smaller size of projects, the committee decided to focus on completing the Main Street mural prior to the Hydromation Building.
